Gerald, just a quick note to thank you for making our day with you last week so delightful! Meg and I could not have asked for a better day or for such wonderful company! We never expected to see and enjoy so much. When we started the day you said, "Today you will see England", and you were right.
We had a great day in Paris on Wednesday. Thanks for all the upfront tips -- they were really helpful. Meg and I took one of those hop-on/hop-off bus tours and really saw and experienced a great deal in nine hours. Of course the audio tour guide was not as fun and interesting as you but "it" served its purpose. We even had time for a nice lunch at a little cafe overlooking the Seine and got in some shopping. I can't thank you enough for mentioning this when I toured with you in January -- your comments inspired me to make this happen for Meg.
We are home and back to our routines.
I hope your day on Thursday went well -- I admire you for helping other folks in the manner that you do.
Thank you again. I was really lucky to meet you in January. I feel like I have made a friend. I hope our paths cross again.
